No matter you’re a vegan or a non-vegan, animal testing is something we have all started to become more aware of over the last few years, and look for beauty alternatives which are both vegan friendly and cruelty-free.

It’s estimated that half of British women are now buying vegan friendly and cruelty-free beauty products, with a third of those not following strict vegan diets. The concept of ‘clean beauty’ and ‘conscious beauty’ have caused new social trends.

But what’s the difference between the two?

Vegan friendly means the products do not contain any animal products like animal fat. Cruelty-free means the products have not be tested on animals.

So you need not to become a vegetarian for taking the first step in caring for the environment.
